Affordable Countertops; Who knew.

When working on a kitchen or bathroom, clients always asks if there are inexpensive or money saving ways to update.

In my recent search for my own kitchen and bathrooms, I actually found the answer.  I did not know about pre fabricated granite or stone counters.

They start at about 150.00 and go up from there.  The average size is about 26x91 and can go up to about 166” long.  Each piece priced is based on the type of granite and size.  You will need to account for the labor and fabrication as these prices are for the material only.  So if you have a smaller space to work with, you could conceivably spend under 500.00 for new countertops.  That’s a great deal considering most full slabs are around 3,000.00.

These slabs also come with the standard 4” backsplash, but you can opt out and find your own tile or stone to finish the space.  These slabs are not sold just anywhere.  You’ll need to search for them which is easy.  I found a few places around the Valley.  They can also recommend a fabricator and installer if you need them.  I hope you enjoy your new spaces.

Enjoy!
