Do you have a young, aspiring
artist, actor, dancer, singer or musician in
your family? Is your child interested in
exploring a particular art form but you
don’t know where to start? NoHo Arts
District is the place to go. The growing
District is one mile bursting with many arts
programs for local children and youth –
“NoHo is Where the Arts Are Made.” All you
have to do is decide which class you want to
take…that’s the tough part. We’ve compiled a
quick reference of NoHo’s many art offerings
to help you plan your child’s next art
adventure.
If your child spends hours drawing or
painting, now’s the time to explore their
creative side with a FREE art class. NoHo
Gallery LA’s “Principles of Art” course
offers one FREE class to see if your child
is interested in exploring the visual arts –
an easy, no-hassle and FUN way to express
your child’s creativity. Students will learn
drawing & painting techniques using a
variety of mediums and tools. There are fun
activities on the history of art and a
student art show is held at the end of each
session in the gallery – giving your child
their first of many art gallery experiences.
Classes are held at NoHo Gallery LA in the
historic Lankershim Arts Center on Tuesdays
and Thursdays from 4:30-6PM.
