Holiday Tips

The average American gains 8 pounds over the Holidays. Follow these tips to keep those pounds away this holiday season.

  • Drink a glass of water between every alcohol drink to reduce calories and hydrate.
  • Eat a salad before going to holiday parties in case food choices are poor.
  • Burn extra calories by speed walking around the mall/store once before shopping. Park further away too.
  • At Holiday parties, scour the food choices first, and then eat a small portion of the food that you only get during the holidays first.
  • Wake up 20 minutes earlier each day and do a quick home workout. Increase your regular workouts if possible.
  • Have Fun! Stress promotes weight gain.
