KIDS PERFORMING WORKSHOPS AT THE SECRET ROSE

The overall life philosophy at NoHo’s Secret Rose Theatre is that acting is fun and that one can learn useful skills that stay with you for the rest of your life.

Acting teaches self-confidence, as well as how to express oneself freely.  These skills are not only useful in the entertainment industry, but in other paths of life including business.  Acting teaches listening and communication skills in a variety of ways; while improvisational acting teaches one how to think quickly on one’s feet.  In addition, theatre arts help to develop and hone a student’s discipline, concentration, and social skills.

With all these life-plus points in mind, the teachers at the Secret Rose Theatre have developed performing workshops for kids of all ages where kids can use their imaginations and explore creative possibilities in a safe environment.
