A CHRISTMAS CAROL –
A man with a flair for telling stories describes the very first
time he heard the classic Dickens tale; as a child growing up in
a camp of migrant farm-workers in the late 1960s.On that magical
night, an old movie actor happens upon the camp on his way to a
performance of his one-man show and is entreated to perform the
story for the group. Suddenly, through the magic of a child’s
mind, the group is transformed into a company of players who
take us through the timeless journey of Ebenezer Scrooge as he
evolves from a miserly old grouch to a happy, generous man with
the help of Jacob Marley, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present
and Future and the Cratchit family. The Road Theatre Company, 5108 Lankershim Blvd. NoHo,
CA 91601. (818) 759-3382.

December sun." AND - come before the show and see SANTA! Yes,

Rep 1/2 hour before every show to hear what kids want for

THE
JOLLY SAINT
– Mere
weeks before Christmas, a disgruntled Santa goes on a journey to
remind mankind of the true meaning of Christmas. After a sudden

holidays. To make matters worse, Santa has amnesia! It may take
the combined efforts of Santa's elves and a Christmas Angel to
save Santa from the Dugans, jog his memory and get him back to
the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve. It's another ensemble
comedy designed to fill your holidays with laughter.
