The
office
of
Councilmember
LaBonge
is
involved
in the
Big
Sunday
weekend
projects
in
Council
District
4.
We are
working
in
conjunction
with
Mid-Town
North
Hollywood
Neighborhood
Council
to
beautify
the area
on
Lankershim
Blvd
between
Burbank
Blvd and
Oxnard
Street.
This
event
will
take
place on
Saturday,
May 3,
2008,
from 8am
to 12
Noon. We
plan to
plant
trees
and
flowers,
pick up
trash,
do some
weeding,
eradicate
graffiti
and
power
wash the
sidewalks
among
other
beautification
efforts.
We have
some
neighborhood
groups
along
with
business
owners
assisting
us. If
you know
of any
students
who are
looking
for
community
service
hours,
church
or
community
members,
non
profits
who
would be
interested
in
helping
to
beautify
the
North
Hollywood
area,
please
let them
know
that
they can
sign up
to help
with
project
#265 at
www.bigsunday.org.
