and activities, including maintenance,
security, image/communication and special
programs, beyond those already provided by
the City of Los Angeles.
The Safety and Maintenance programs include
a bike and walking Ambassador Program whose
mission is to be the eyes and ears of the
police department aiding property owners and
tenants on overall crime prevention. In
addition, the
BID will provide sidewalk and alley
maintenance, graffiti removal, sidewalk
pressure washing, weed abatement, paper sign
and handbill removal.
Other programs include that of
communication and development, and
activities that will assist in leveraging
funds to contribute to special projects
throughout the district.
The establishment of the NoHo BID will
result in a stronger economy through
enhancement of North Hollywood as a more attractive, convenient and
pedestrian-friendly place to live and do
business.
The District will be cleaner, more
attractive and a safer place that will
attract more businesses and residents to the
area.
It joins the 33 other successful BIDs
throughout the City of
Los Angeles.
