Adopt a cat or kitten from at the Purr-Fect Cat and Kitten Adopt-a-Thon on July 15th ! Summer is kitten season and the LA Animal Care Centers are inundated with lost and homeless cats. These cats have little chance to survive unless a loving Angeleno finds room in his or her heart to adopt a cat or two. Cats are social animals and two are always better than one!

At the time of this article, there were more than 789 cats and kittens at LA Animal Care Centers waiting to find a forever home. We have to rely on the kindness of Angelenos to do the right thing and save a life by adopting a pet. All cat adoptions include vaccinations, microchipping, and spay or neuter surgery.

Can’t make a long-term commitment but you would still like to help? Join LA Animal Services Bottle Baby Program and help kittens in need. LA Animal Services provides the training and the accessories needed to be a competent Foster Parent. This is the perfect program for clubs, seniors, invalids, or people unable to make long term commitments… You nurse these babies until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered and adopted out (about 6 to 8 weeks). Once weaned, Foster Parents have the option of adopting one or more of the kittens or returning them to Animal Services Adoption Program.
