Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA)
North Hollywood is Reborn - 20 years of Accomplishments

The North Hollywood Redevelopment Project is a 740-acre project administered by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles.
  Overview

The Project features an older but charming residential area, the NoHo Arts and Entertainment District, a commercial district anchored by the Academy Entertainment and Business Center where the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Academy Hall of Fame Plaza are located, in addition to 39 small theaters, many restaurants and shops. The Project also offers a neighborhood shopping center and is home to a small industrial corridor.

As part of the work program for the next several years, there are plans for a major mixed-use development and the restoration of the Historic Lankershim Train Deport adjacent to the Metro Rail Station. Additional activities will include improvement to the residential area, construction of new homes and streetscape improvements, as well as continued support to the promotion of the NoHo Arts and Entertainment.
