As part of the NoHo International Theatre & Arts Festival 2000, members of the TV Academy's peer groups will give the public a behind-the-scenes look at TV production. The Academy's plaza and driveways at the corner of Magnolia and Lankershim Boulevards will be transformed into a fairground featuring TV crafts and technology, daring stunt performances, soap opera stars, location TV station personalities, and auditions for "Wheel of Fortune". Don't be surprised if you encounter look-a-like actors playing Lucille Ball, Jay Leno, and Jack Benny around the fairgrounds. The Academy's "fair within a fair" will run from noon to 8:00 p.m. on June 24 and June 25.

Highlights:

Stunt performances on both days featuring trampoline stunts, wire work, and classic fight scenes. Don’t miss the free fall from a 54-foot crane and the sky dive by a parachute stunt team @ 4:30 p.m. in the Academy parking lot near Lankershim Boulevard.

The "Wheel of Fortune" Wheel Mobile will be in the Academy Plaza both days to interview festival goers for contestant slots.

Local TV stations will have displays and celebrities available to sign autographs.

Soap opera stars will be on hand for autographs and pictures courtesy of the Daytime Programs and Performers peer groups.

"Name That Tune" contest featuring popular TV theme songs sponsored by the Music peer group.

The Costume Designers and Supervisors will display costumes from current shows.
