Words and music by P. A. Tezuka
From the ashes of destruction the City is reborn
Like the mighty bird of fire, once more it’ll take the sky.
Through smoke and burning towers we saw the light ahead.
It’ll rise above the rubble much stronger than before.
Remember our fallen heroes, ’though their faces we not know.
Their lives were robbed in an instant, but their spirits shall never die.
And the heroes that protect us, ’though we have never met.
We give our thanks with all our hearts for the battles they endure.
The enemy has challenged, took hostage of our peace.
United, we stand forever; our freedom shall prevail.
No evil can deny us of our right for Liberty.
No power is stronger, than the power of love bestowed.
With our leaders to guide us, we stand boldly unafraid.
America, God bless this land; our quest shall never fail.
The citizens have spoken from all across the earth.
We joined our strengths together -- one city, once nation, one world.
