I'm looking for actors for an upcoming ten-minute musical "Bad Dad" which I am casting and directing and I need people right away.
Here are the particulars:
"Bad Dad" is a 10-Minute Musical for Fire Rose Productions' Ten-Minute Musical Festival - part of the Festival of New American Musicals.
The show will be held at the Secret Rose. This show is non-union.
Production dates are May 30 through June 22, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2 PM.
Dress/Tech will be the evenings of May 25, 26, and 29.
The roles I am looking for is Ralph's friends.
Ralph’s friends are tenors and baritones who sing, dance, do drill team moves and have a good time.
The plot goes like this: Ralph fakes a stomachache, so he does not have to go to his daughter’s drill team competition. His wife, Nancy, comes home early to find him watching football, drinking beer, dancing and eating Buffalo wings with his friends. Ralph finds himself in the doghouse again, so to try to get back in his wife's good graces, he volunteers his out of shape buddies and himself, to do a drill team routine for his daughter’s school fundraiser.
