The Forum Theatre - Vaudeville Review
The Forum Theatre is opening a new Vaudeville Review
At a time of intense campaigning by potential Presidential Candidates, to a slowing economy and much worry over the safety of our Service men and women in Iraq and other hot spots around the world; the Forum Theatre is taking a step back in time, where there were seemingly fewer conflicts dominating the minds of everyday people.
Vaudeville is a slapstick comedic performance that transports us to a place of side splitting relief from the worries and obligations of life for a period of happy-go-lucky pleasure.

Audrey has spent a life time working in theatre. From her youth in New York, she started to sing and dance at six years of age. Her father Charlie King was himself a Vaudeville performer known for his comic whit, whistling, and singing and for being a strongman. At fourteen, Audrey joined her fathers act. This further fueled her passion for the performing arts. In time, she found herself debuting in the Broadway Musical Crocodile Island. Married at Seventeen, Audrey and her Husband Mike headed west and made Los Angeles their home. Audrey has appeared in theatre, television and film. She operates the Actors Forum Theatre where audiences have enjoyed everything from the Traditional to the new and Innovative in theatrical performance. The Forum is home to the beginner and the seasoned professional, where they hone their craft.

The Forum has the benefit of having Billy Revel as its’ Musical Director. Mr. Revel comes from New York. Harry Revel, Billy’s’ uncle, wrote many tunes along with Mack Gordon. Tunes that have been performed around the world by such notables Shirley Temple-Black, Bing Crosby, Alice Faye and Judy Garland. Billy is a musical prodigy who brings zest and power to all of his’ work. He will be performing in Skidoo which will prove to be a must see performance. This is going to be a brilliant form of expression of a by-gone-day art form longing to be brought back into modern theatre.
