2006 Deadline for Submissions: June 1, 2006

Nominations may be submitted at any time. A deadline will be set on an annual basis and submission received after the deadline will be placed in consideration for the following year.

Submissions should be in writing and include a resume, bio, statement of reasons for the nomination or other supporting evidence. The nomination should include contact information for the person or organization submitting the nomination as well as contact information for the nominee.

Considerations

To be considered for the award a bio or reasons for nomination for a particular person, (both men and women) group, organization or theatre --must be submitted in writing to Women In Theatre.

Extensive support to theatre in greater Los Angeles including any or all of the following and/or related areas on stage or behind the scenes:

Acting, teaching, directing, music, choreography, staging, props, technical, design, costuming, stage management, promotional, administrative, educational, outreach, fundraising, development, production and other.

A secondary consideration is providing opportunities and support for women in the theatrical arts including developing of projects that focus on women.

A key goal for the awards is to salute the dedicated yet perhaps unsung theatrical participants throughout greater Los Angeles and those that provide community support and enlighten the lives of others via various forms of live artistic expression and performance.
